Chicago at Texas

The Texas Rangers got big-time results from Derek Holland down the stretch a year ago. Holland was masterful in leading the Rangers to a 9-1 mark over his last 10 starts on the season, carrying with it a stellar 3.41 ERA. That mastery did not, however, translate well vs. the White Sox, as in two starts against them he lasted a total of 7.1 innings and allowed 9 runs in the process. Jake Peavy is not the same pitcher he was in 2007 when he won the NL Cy Young award, but is certainly capable of keeping the Chi-Sox close here, as they have won seven of his last eight road starts at the end of last season.
