Chicago at Texas

The Texas Rangers blew a golden opportunity last year in the World Series vs. the Cardinals, and will start the trek towards their first World Series win ever, as they open at home vs. the White Sox. Colby Lewis gets the ball, and as a No. 1 starter his numbers look more like a No. 3 starter. Lewis finished last year at 14-10 with a 4.40 ERA, after finishing 2010 at just 12-13. He will be opposed by John Danks who is arguably a better pitcher. He is coming off a bad season where he started his first 11 games where saw the Pale Hose go 1-10. He rebounded nicely as the Sox went 11-5 in his last 16 starts, and that is more like his career numbers, which are much better than those of Lewis. This is an inflated line based on Texas going to the World Series last year, and the value and play here is on Chicago.
