Overall the Tampa Bay Rays have done a great job at home with their 17-8 record over 25 games. The problem is they opened the season at 13-1 here, meaning since they are 4-7 over their last 11. They have sustained a lot of injuries and are just 10-12 over their last 22 games. The White Sox are on fire and got the win here in the series opener by a 2-1 score. The Pale Hose have now rattled off ten for the win column in their last 11 games played. James Shields is the ace of the Rays staff, but his numbers, along with a struggling bullpen, have not looked good in his last six starts. He and the bullpen combined have allowed 30 runs in those six starts, or five per contest. The Rays depleted lineup can't keep up. The White Sox are 6-0 in their last six vs. a winning team, while the Rays are just 8-20 behind Shields facing a team that held their opponent to two runs or less in their last game. Play on Chicago.
