Chicago at Tampa Bay

The White Sox have won five straight and the offense has been exploding for runs. That may look good, but it came against two of the three weakest pitching staffs in baseball in Minnesota and Cleveland. What goes unnoticed in a winning streak is the fact that the White Sox own pitching has been beaten up for 24 runs over the last four games. They will have to do a much better job than that vs. Tampa because the Rays pitching is their team's strength. They are also getting a bit healthier in their lineup. The Rays are 37-15 in their last 52 at home and have gone 16-6 in their last 22 vs. a lefthand starter. The White Sox are getting slowed by tough AL East where they have just one win in their last five. Play on Tampa.
