It has already been a long season for the Chicago White Sox, who come into this game at 8-19 on the season. This is a young team, and while there is some talent, they are not ready to win yet, especially on the road vs a quality team with a quality starter on the hill. Chicago got a rare good pitching performance in the series opener, but the margin for error with this team is slim, and they lost 3-2. The Cardinals' slumping offense that came into last night's game scoring just three runs in 32 innings, exploded for three in the ninth, and it looks like that could be the mojo this team needed. Chicago is young, and having let one get away on the road has to be demoralizing to this team. Play on St. Louis.
