Chicago at Seattle

The season started 3-18 for the Chicago White Sox, and with their current record an ugly 16-50, not much progress can be measured. There is some excitement as for the fist time this year the White Sox are calling up a top 100 prospect. Drew Thorpe was the prized piece in their trade with San Diego last year. Thorpe has lived up to his billing in the minors, and he has a tremendous changeup that I think can baffle a team the first time looking at him. The Mariners are moving in the right direction. They have gotten great pitching over the last couple of weeks as the Seattle staff has allowed four or fewer runs against them in 11 of the last 14 games. I don't think there will be much offense here. Make the play UNDER the total.
