Mark Buehrle again faces Jarrod Washburn. While this game isn't as important as the 2005 AL Championship game in which they last met, it's an interesting matchup. Buerhle is pitching as well as anyone. He's got a 1.93 ERA on the season over his four starts. He's allowed just 19 hits and 6 ER in 28 innings. Washburn is just 1-3 with a 4.05 ERA. Chicago is on a tear having won 14 games already. Their only loss in the past ten games was a 1 run setback on Monday against Jamie Moyer. They bounced back strong last night winning 13-3. They should win the series tonight with Buerhle on the mound. He's 23-7 as a favorite and 16-4 overall in the first half of the season over the past two seasons. Seattle has fared very poorly over the past two seasons vs. very good pitchers. They are just 3-17 vs. pitchers with a WHIP of 1.200 or better. White Sox and Buerhle here.
