Chicago at Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Pirates are playing well, but their 4-game sweep against lowly Philadelphia showed some chinks in the armor, as they won three of the four games in extra frames, and scored a grand total of six runs prior to extra innings in the entire series. They will take on a team, in Chicago, that swings the bats much better, and the Pirates will need to be more productive on offense. Carlos Rodon has been very good since joining the White Sox rotation, and is off a 6-inning win vs. Houston, where he allowed no runs. The White Sox have handled Liriano in the past as he owns a 4.99 ERA against them. The Sox have registered seven wins in their last 10 series openers and have gone 5-1 in interleague play in their last six vs. a team with a winning reord. Make the play on Chicago.
