It doesn't seem too long ago when the White Sox were red-hot and atop the AL Central. It was thanks to a 26-5 run that vaulted them into first place, but what goes up must come down. The Sox have fallen in a hurry as they now stand 19 games behind the Twins in the AL Central. They are now 2-10 over their last 12 games, and the white flag has been raised over Chi-town. The A's have been good at home all season long. Gio Gonzalez has thrived here with an 8-3 record and 2.70 ERA. Gavin Floyd, like the White Sox, had a 12 game run of allowing 2 runs or less, but has since fallen hard with a 6.07 ERA in his last seven starts. This one belongs to the A's.
