Chicago at Oakland

The Oakland A's have some work to do if they want to make a playoff run. Things have not gone smoothly for the A's of late, but perhaps a big series hosting the Chicago White Sox can get them going. The A's are battling the Yankees and Red Sox for the final Wild Card spot in the AL. Right now, both the Yankees and the Red Sox are struggling, so if they can get hot for a week, they are likely right there. The White Sox are not going to catch the Rays for the top spot in the playoffs, and 2nd place Cleveland is not going to catch them in the AL Central. There is not a lot to play for, for the White Sox the rest of the way, and Oakland needs to make a statement tonight. Make the play on Oakland.
