Chicago snapped its 21-game losing streak with a 5-1 victory over the Athletics featuring a two-run homer by Andrew Benintendi, but it's no time for the White Sox to get giddy as they still are destined to be one of the worst teams in major league history. Chicago is 11-48 on the road and 9-51 its past 60 games overall as an underdog. Oakland has won six of seven after scoring two or fewer runs its previous game and it will start Joey Estes, who allowed two runs on two hits in six innings against the Dodgers on Friday. Davis Martin has appeared in two games for the White Sox and given up five runs on nine hits in 6 1/3 innings. Chicago averages only 3.1 runs on the road this season while allowing 5.2 per game.
