Chicago at New York

This is the nightcap of a split doubleheader, and Michael Kopech is scheduled to start for Chicago. He has allowed only six earned runs in 35 innings. Kopech faced the Yankees last Sunday and pitched well, giving up three runs on one hit in six innings, although New York pulled out a 5-1 win. Kopech has pitched 13 innings on the road this season and allowed just one run for a 0.69 ERA, and the Yankees are batting just .167 against him in 31 at-bats. Luis Severino has pitched better on the road than at Yankee Stadium where he has given up nine runs on 15 hits in 18 2/3 innings. The White Sox have won eight of their past 10 road games versus right-handed starters and eight of 11 on the road overall. Kopech has not allowed an earned run in 15 innings in night games this year.
