Chicago at New York

The New York Yankees have struggled to score runs all season. They tried to fortify their lineup prior to the trade deadline, but the players they acquired have been just more of the same, adding very little. The White Sox lost 99 games last season, but have improved the offense tremendously, and they earned a split with the Yankees in a four game series earlier this season. The Yankees' hopes for a Wild Card opportunity are fading with each passing game, and once dominating at the Stadium they are below the .500 mark here this season. Chicago has fared very well in a series opener where they are 8-2 in their last 10, and are 5-0 in their last five when following an off day. The Yanks are just 3-7 in their last 10 vs. a left-hander and 3-7 in their last 10 overall, and look to be playing to an inflated price here. Take the White Sox.
