Miguel Gonzalez has pitched better than his record indicates as he has only one decision in five starts and in his last four outings, the right-hander has allowed nine earned runs in 22 2/3 innings but only has an 0-1 record to show for it. Chicago beat the Mets yesterday 6-4 after a disastrous weekend in Kansas City and a 1-0 loss on Monday as it rallied from a four-run deficit and the bullpen finally came through with four scoreless innings. Jason deGrom did not get the decision in a 6-5 win over the Dodgers on Friday when he threw 100 pitches in seven innings. The right-hander has thrown at least 100 pitches his last four starts but hasn't gone past the seventh inning in any of them. Take advantage of big value on the underdog and play the White Sox.
