Not a lot to pick and choose from here, as both of these teams have seen any hopes of playing into October dashed a long time ago. The White Sox just took two of three from Detroit, while the Twins have failed to log a win in each of their last two. Mike Pelfrey has not won a game in over a month, and his ERA is on the rise at 5.32 on the season, and has yet to beat Chicago in his career. The Twins are now 1-7 in Pelfrey's last eight starts on regular four days of rest. Chicago has served themselves well when playing in Minnesota as they own a decisive 15-7 mark in their last 22 played here. The dog has some bite here, so the pick is on the White Sox.
