Chicago at Los Angeles

The disappointing and under-achieving Los Angeles Angels kept their playoffs hopes alive last night with a 6-2 win to open this series. They are running out of games. With only 11 left to play, they are four games in the loss column away from the second wildcard slot. Among those disappointments is an 11-11 Dan Haren with his lofty ERA of 4.41. Haren has been coughing-up the long ball far too often, serving up 25 round-trippers. The White Sox are one of the best power teams in baseball. Haren has struggled mightily as a home favorite at just 3-11 in his last 14. The White Sox have been the better team all year, while Haren and the Angels hard to trust. Play on the White Sox.
