Chicago at Los Angeles

The American League has four teams fighting for two Wild Card spots as the Orioles seem to have one of them under control. One of those teams is the LA Angels. The Angels have gone 13-7 in their last 20 games and seem to have things sorted out. The Chicago White Sox have taken a wrong turn as their young talent can't seem to sustain much of anything this season. They enter the contest at 34-46, and they are 5-10 over their last 15 games. Chicago is just 27-41 in their last 68 trips to LA. They have had no success vs Shohei Ohtani as they are 0-2 in his two starts against them and have lost those games by three runs per contest. I like the Angels in this one.
