Now they face Jered Weaver, who had one of his finest outings of the season allowing just one run and four hits in six innings as the Angels won 7-2 at Tampa Bay on July 6. Weaver has faced the White Sox once this year and gave up a run and three hits in seven innings. Chicago has dropped three straight without scoring a run and is 25th in the majors with a .704 OPS against right-handers. In fact, the White Sox have been shut out five times in July. Jacob Turner will make his first appearance since 2014 and was 4-7 with a 4.71 ERA in Triple-A this season. The Angels are 12-2 in Weaver's last 14 starts versus the White Sox.
