Chicago at Kansas City

Kansas City's slim lead in the AL Central has become a 1.5 game deficit, and they are hanging on to a slender lead in the Wild Card race. This is a young team that came of age this season, but that youth has not served them well down the stretch as they are just 4-6 in their last 10 games as the pressure mounts. The White Sox are 4-2 in their last six games, and this team can swing the bats, and should get some good looks tonight vs. Liam Hendriks, who has not fared well. Hendriks owns a 5.06 ERA on the season, and he has been much worse against the Pale Hose, where in four career starts he stands at 0-3 with a 6.64 ERA. This is the weak link in the Royals' rotation, and KC has dropped four straight following a win. I'm on the White Sox in this one.
