Chicago at Kansas City

This is a nothing game as both teams have long been eliminated from post-season possibilities. The Royals may have one bit of motivation, They now have the worst record in baseball by 1/2 a game to the A's. They open a 4-game set with the Chicago White Sox this afternoon. The White Sox hit the road after playing 10 of their last 13 at home, and at this stage of the season, a poor team starting a road trip is not a very motivating spot against another poor squad. Chicago is 19-35 in their 54 games as a road dog and just 4-11 in their last 15 in that role. I like Kansas City in this one.
