Ivan Nova was better off in the National League as his first year with Chicago has not been good with his 4-8 record and 5.60 ERA. Nova has a 6.71 ERA in night games and he has given up five runs on 12 hits in 10 1/3 innings versus Kansas City. The White Sox are 17-29 on the road and they are on a current five-game losing streak while being outscored 37-7. The Royals won an 11-0 blowout on Tuesday while pounding out 14 hits. Danny Duffy goes tonight for the Royals and he has pitched better than his record indicates. He allowed four runs in two innings last time out, but that was due to being hit on the left hand on a comebacker.
