Many projected the Kansas City Royals as a possible surprise playoff team a year ago, but not many thought they would be playing in the World Series. This is a young and talented team that has come of age quickly, and they certainly have a high ceiling and lots of confidence coming into 2015. Yordano Ventura is going to be the next pitching star for the Royals, winning 14 games in his rookie campaign, and closing the season at 5-1 over his last six games. He has a high ceiling and expect him to best the 14 wins from a year ago. Jeff Samardzija may be able to match him, but the difference in the bullpens here is gaping wide and should be the difference maker if the game is close late.
