The Detroit Tigers took care of business in Kansas City over the weekend winning two of three, and they also have the Royals in jeopardy tonight as Kansas City completes a suspended game vs. Cleveland, trailing in the 10th by a 4-2 score. There should be a natural letdown for the Tigers tonight as they host a team that has long been eliminated, but also one that would like to beat a contender. The Tigers send rookie Kyle Lobstein to the mound, who was skipped in the rotation vs. Kansas City and represents the Tigers weakest rotation option. Chris Bassitt has pitched better for Chicago. And while he has recorded a pair of no decisions in his last two outings, the White Sox have grabbed the win in both games. Chicago is on a four game winning streak facing an opponent that scored two or less runs in their previous game, and are catching the Tigers in a flat spot to open this series. Play on Chicago.
