Max Scherzer has 10 wins on the season with an ERA that doesn't seem to fit. What he has done very well is pitch at home, as his ERA stands a full 2 runs better pitching off the mound in Detroit. He has also pitched favorable in division games, where the Tigers are 6-2 in his last eight starts to the UNDER. The White Sox are a backwards team as they score better vs. good pitchers. A case in point was last night, putting up 8 in a Jason Verlander start against them. They struggle more vs. ordinary pitchers, and in their last 26 vs. a pitcher with a WHIP above 1.30, they have gone 17-6-3 to the UNDER.
