Chicago at Detroit

The Detroit Tigers have a lot of pitching depth, and at the top of it all stands David Price. The Tigers have recorded four shutouts through their first nine games, but will go against a Chicago team that has a lot of maturing young bats. And, at the same time the Pale Hose did something to improve their suspect rotation by adding Jeff Samardzija. Samardzija is more than capable of matching Price here inning for inning. White Sox centerfielder has great numbers against Price at 5-8, and a lofty .625 average against him. The White Sox have a capable arm to go against Price here, something they didn't have much of a year ago, and I like them in the big dog role. Take the White Sox.
