Chicago will start Dylan Cease and hope he can slow down the Rockies as they have won the first two games of the series while scoring 25 runs. Colorado had lost seven of its previous eight games and its hitters figure to cool off against Cease, who has put together two good starts in a row allowing two runs on six hits in 12 1/3 innings against the Yankees and Milwaukee. The right-hander has done his best work in day games this season with a 3.57 ERA and .206 opponent batting average. Chris Flexen was acquired from Seattle and since has been getting destroyed as he has given up 17 earned runs on 27 hits in 19 2/3 innings with the Rockies, who have lost seven of nine as underdogs and are only 28-32 at Coors Field this season.
