Cleveland laid a very impressive win on Detroit yesterday ending the Tigers' eight game win streak. The Indians bats came alive for 9 runs as they rocked Kenny Rogers. Today they come in from that confidence booster to face the World Champions. Both starters in this game have had a rough go of it lately with Javier Vazquez posting a 7.23 ERA over his last three starts and Cliff Lee a 7.00 ERA over his. The White Sox have dominated this series but I like the home team here. Lee is a solid 47-27 over the past three seasons including 41-22 when the posted total is 8.5 to 10. In a game in which the starting pitching is a wash, we look to offense where Cleveland has a big edge. The Indians are scoring 5.8 runs per game and 6.3 vs. right-handed starters. The Sox are scoring 5.5 runs per game and just 4.7 vs. left-handed starters. Over their past seven games, Chicago's bats have been even colder scoring just 4.6 per game. And, we get home field advantage and momentum. Indians here.
