Chicago at Boston

Boston's motivation the last week of the season will be to escape last place in the AL East, but the Red Sox still are 18 games better than the White Sox in win/loss records. Chicago is 58-96 overall and 28-51 on the road in a thoroughly disastrous season. Dylan Cease has been a major disappointment with a 7-8 record and 4.85 ERA and 1.45 WHIP overall and it gets worse on the road where he owns a 5.47 ERA and .261 opponent batting average and Chicago has lost seven of his past 10 road starts. The White Sox have lost eight of their past 10 games and they have gone UNDER four of five and Boston is 7-3 UNDER its past 10 games. The UNDER is 8-3 the past 11 meetings and Nick Pivetta has pitched well his past three appearances allowing eight runs, but getting little run support. Take the Red Sox and the UNDER.
