The Chicago White Sox squandered a strong outing from Chris Sale as Boston won last night with a pair of 9th inning runs in walk-off fashion. Boston appears to be looking ahead to next season and evaluating talent as they started five rookies last night. The Red Sox are desperately trying to find some consistent offense as their veteran players have all been a bust this season. Jose Quintana is red hot, and has not allowed a run in each of his last two starts, and has seen his ERA drop to 3.20. He also sports an ERA of just 0.94 in his last four starts. Boston has done nothing against him as he is 2-0 in two career starts covering over 14 innings, and has not allowed a run. Boston's offensive struggles have been magnified against left-handers where they are 2-9 in their last 11. Take the White Sox.
