Boston has won four in a row and now are three games in the lead in the AL East after a 3-2 win over the White Sox on Friday night when Mitch Moreland hit a two-out, walk-off home run in the 11th. The Red Sox go up against James Shields tonight, and he is fortunate to still be in the Major Leagues as he's been getting knocked around consistently, including his last outing when he allowed six runs on eight hits in six innings against Toronto. Chicago has lost four of his last five starts, and he was 0-2 with 9.00 ERA in July. The White Sox are 20-37 on the road and have lost 10 of their last 11 versus left-handed starters. Drew Pomeranz is 10-4, and the Red Sox have won five of his last seven starts. Pomeranz had his best month in July when he was 3-0 with a 2.72 ERA. And in one appearance against the White Sox this year, Pomeranz gave up just one run in seven innings. Play the Red Sox.
