Boston has a one-game lead in the AL East after winning its last two games before being rained out last night. Rick Porcello has pitched better recently after a rough first half of the season, although he has suffered from lack of run support. The Red Sox have scored a total of four runs his last four outings, but they go up against Miguel Gonzalez, who allowed four runs on six hits in six innings his last time out against the Indians. And the White Sox have lost 10 of his last 12 starts. Gonzalez is 2-6 with a 5.30 ERA on the road after being 0-4 away from home last season. Chicago is 8-21 its last 29 road contests and 27-59 its last 86 road games against right-handed starters. Boston is 32-20 at home and has won eight of Porcello's last 10 starts when he has five days of rest. Play the Red Sox.
