Chicago has cooled off after a good start to the season as the Cubs have lost seven of 10, including the past two games of this series while scoring only two runs. C.J. Abrams hit a tiebreaking single in the seventh for a second straight game as Washington won 2-1 on Wednesday. The Nationals bullpen pitched 4 2/3 scoreless innings. Patrick Corbin has allowed three runs in each of his past two starts, which is an improvement for him and Jameson Taillon will start for the Cubs. Taillon is 0-2 with a 4.50 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in three appearances this season.
