Both teams lost key players from their roster at the trade deadline and seemingly are in rebuilding mode, but on this particular day Chicago appears to be in better shape as it has Kyle Hendricks on the mound with his 12-4 record and 3.85 ERA. The Cubs have won three of his past four starts and he is 2-0 with a 3.41 ERA in July and the Nationals will be seeing hin for the first time this year. Washington won Friday's game 4-3, but it still has lost six of its last eight games and 17 of its past 25. Also, Washington is 3-9 its last 12 games versus right-handed starters and Chicago is 10-1 in Hendricks' past 11 starts in the second game of a series. Play the Cubs.
