Let's face it, the Cubs are a mess right now. They have packed it in for the season, and their last 25 games pretty much sums that up as they are baseball's worst at 5-20. Washington may not be a pennant contender yet, but they have improved greatly, especially at home where they are 31-27 for the season. Livan Hernandez has anchored a staff with his best season, and enters with a 3.06 ERA, and an even better mark of 2.88 at home. He has pitched to a 2.30 ERA overall, in his last seven starts. The Cubs go with converted reliever Casey Coleman who has not impressed with his 7.82 ERA. Not an arm that will solve the Cubs’ woes, so I'll go with Washington here.
