Chicago at Tampa Bay

Both teams have been struggling lately and Tampa Bay will look to bounce back from Wednesday's 4-3 loss when Cody Bellinger hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the Chicago seventh. The Rays will go with Taj Bradley, who recovered nicely after a bad outing against Baltimore on June 1, and he allowed just a run on three hits in five innings against the Orioles seven days later. Justin Steele has pitched in bad luck all season as he has yet to win a decision with a 3.65 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP. The Cubs have lost seven of his eight starts in 2024.
