Chicago at St. Louis

Ryan Dempster pitched well all season long for the Cubs a year ago and finished the season at 17-6. He hasn't pitched well yet, but the Cubs have still managed to go 2-1 in his three starts to date. Adam Wainwright is off to a good start for the Cardinals, but over his career he has struggled mightily to solve the Cubs’ lineup. He enters this one with a 6.08 career ERA vs. the Cubbies, and didn't do much to improve upon that a year ago where he pitched to a six ERA against them. Dempster has got the stuff to keep the Cubs in this one, and they have solved Wainwright over and over again, so I'll go with the Cubs here as a live dog.
