Chicago at San Francisco

San Francisco won two of the first three games of this series as the Giants try to get back on track following a long losing streak. Luis Gonzalez hit a two-run homer, and Joey Bart a solo shot and the Giants held on for a 5-4 victory on Saturday. Carlos Rodon takes the mound today, and he has a sparkling 2.05 ERA and 4-1 record at home this year, and Adrian Sampson will make his seventh start for Chicago, which has lost eight of the last 10 meetings with San Francisco. The Cubs are 21-27 on the road, 11-24 in their past 35 overall against teams with losing records, and 8-22 on the road versus left-handed starters. Also, the Cubs are 8-24 in their past 32 against the NL West. San Francisco has won five of its last six home games as it battles to stay in the Wild Card race. Take the Giants.
