The Giants broke a seven-game losing streak of their own, and they are hoping some home-cooking can get them back on track following a disastrous seven-game trip. San Francisco is 27-22 at home, and the Cubs are 20-26 on the road. Chicago starter, Marcus Stroman, has a 2-5 record and 4.38 ERA, including 1-4 and 4.98 in night games. Alex Cobb has done his best work at home this season with a 3.02 ERA, and he has had a decent July allowing 10 earned runs and no home runs in 30 innings.
