The pitching matchup tonight doesn't have a whole lot of separation, until you look at the history of Jake Peavy vs. the Cubs. He has made 17 starts and shows a nifty 2.81 ERA against them, including a 2-run four-hit outing earlier this season. Peavy has an extra day of rest where the Giants have posted an 8-1 mark in his last nine on five days of rest.
