The Chicago Cubs had some rough stretches last week against Arizona and Washington, but they step way down in class to face a San Francisco offense that is #28 in runs scored, #29 in on-base percentage and last in slugging. Chicago is on an 11-1 run on the road, 16-5 after a defeat and 20-7 against a lefty starter. Cubs righty Jake Arrieta has a 2.08 ERA over his last six starts. He is also 4-2 with a 1.82 ERA against the Giants, including a 3-1 mark and 2.08 ERA at AT&T Park. The Cubs are 37-16 in his last 53 road starts, 21-7 away when he faces a team with a losing record. San Francisco is an NL-worst 25-31 at home this season. The Giants go with struggling Matt Moore (3-11, 5.80 ERA), who has allowed 16 hits, seven walks and 12 runs his last three starts (17 innings).
