The Cubs have a 32-48 mark on the road this season, meaning they have cashed in just 40% of the time.  Finding them in the role of a favorite on the last day of the regular season sure doesn't offer a lot of support from the numbers. Ryan dempster, now 34 years of age, has allowed more hits than innings pitched for the first time in five years and is just 10-13 on the season, appearing to be heading down. His road ERA has been even worse at 4.60 on the season. Wade LeBlanc has had an abbreviated season, but despite a poor overall ERA he has been much better at home at 3.86. The Cubs have struggled on the road, but even more so against lefthand pitching where they are 4-12 in their last 16. LeBlanc has led the Padres to a 12-5 mark at home vs. a losing team.
