Lilly has already been knocked out of games four times this season without completing five innings and his last three outings have him sitting on a 6+ ERA. Greg Maddux is remarkable. Many felt at 42 he is hanging on too long. His 3.69 ERA abondons those thoughts quickly, especially when you look down and see that he has walked just 12 all season - his control is precision. The Padres have been bad, but with Maddox on the mound they have won four of his last five starts. So as a dog at home, in a favorable pitching matchup, we will back the Padres here.
