While the Chicago Cubs keep making a push for the playoffs, the San Diego Padres continue to struggle. The Padres enter at 40-57 on the season. The Padres are playing at an even worse rate of late, having gone 3-9 over their last 12 games. They will send Luis Perdomo to the mound - not exactly their best arm. Pedromo is just 1-3 on the season, with an ERA of 7.09, and has allowed 40 hits in just 26 innings of work. The Cubs are playing very well right now, having taken 10-of-13, and 4 of the 10 wins has featured them scoring 10+ runs. Kyle Hendricks appears to have found something, off an 8.1 inning stint, allowing no runs. Take the Cubs in this one.
