What can be said about the Chicago Cubs that have gone more than a century since their last World Series Championship. This is a team that has struggled the last couple of years, traded away their best pitcher, and hitter, and are going to be a struggling rebuilding team once again. The Pirates have finally overcome a horrible two decades of losing to become a bonafide contender. The Pirates hope to build off their 94 win season from a year ago. Francisco Liriano was the Comeback Player of the Year last season and has finally regained ace status after a couple of injury plagued seasons. Lirano had an excellent spring and is poised for a big season. The Cubs are just 1-6 in their last seven here, and Samardzija is 0-4 in his last four against the Pirates. Play on Pittsburgh.
