The total here is being held in check by the 1-0 game these clubs played last night. In spite of that, the Cubs have scored 29 runs in their last five games at just shy of 6 per contest, plating 17 in this series through the first three games. The Pirates hung in quite awhile, but are back to pretender status with their current 3-11 dive. The pitching which had been rock solid most of the year, has now allowed 40 runs in the last six games or 6.7 per contest. The Cubs are playing their best road baseball of the year with four straight wins, while the Pirates have been worn out in game four of a series at 35-72 their last 107. The Cubs are now 38-17-4 to the OVER in game four of a series and 5-0 in their last five on the road to the OVER. The Pirates are 6-1 in their last seven to the OVER as a home favorite, and as a home favorite of less than -150, they have played OVER to a 19-7 mark. I'll go play on both the Cubs and the OVER.
