Ryan Dempster has pitched representatively well, but the Cubs off-and-on offense has seen them go just 2-6 in his eight starts. Dating back to last year, it has been an ongoing problem for Dempster and the Cubs to find the win column on the road. The Cubbies are just 6-15 in his last 21 road starts, and facing what is likely the best team in the NL off a loss will not be easy. Joe Blanton looks to get healthy vs. a team he has faced just once and ate them up, working seven innings, allowing just 1 run. The Cubs are just 2-10 behind Dempster as a dog, while the Phillies are 21-9 in Blanton's last 30 starts as a favorite. Philly takes this one.
