Chicago at Philadelphia

The Chicago Cubs are 40-16 and on pace to win 116 games. Kyle Hendricks gets the start tonight after allowing only four runs in his last three outings, covering 22 1/3 innings. The right-hander has a 2.84 ERA this season and Philadelphia hitters who have faced him are a combined 7-for-42 for a .167 batting average. The Phillies got off to an unexpected good start this year, but their lack of offense has caught up with them as they are second to last in OPS and near the bottom in virtually every other offensive category. The Phillies have lost nine of their last 11 games and the Cubs have won all four meetings this season. Jerad Eickhoff is 2-8 with a 3.93 ERA but has gotten little run support and probably won't tonight either. This still is a decent price considering the situation. Play the Cubs.
