Philadelphia went into the All-Star break on a two-game win streak while the Cubs have lost nine of their last 10, sitting just a half-game ahead of last-place Cincinnati in the NL Central. Chicago will start Justin Steele, who is 3-6 with a 4.15 ERA, and the Cubs have lost three of his last four starts, including 7-1 to Baltimore when Steele allowed four runs on six hits in six innings. The left-hander also has a 5.86 ERA on the road in six appearances. Kyle Gibson comes off two excellent outings allowing one run on six hits in 13 innings, and the Phillies won both.
