Jacob deGrom has the lowest ERA through 10 starts of any pitcher in major league history and he hasn't allowed more than one earned run in any of them. deGrom has not given up a run his last three starts, including a 3-2 victory over the Padres on Friday. New York has won five of its past six games and now is 4 1/2 games in first place in the NL East. Chicago is tied for first in the NL Central, but the Cubs are only 14-19 on the road. Robert Stock will make a spot start for the Cubs after nine appearances with Triple-A Iowa where he relieved in seven of those games. Chicago is 3-8 its past 11 games as a road underdog and the Mets are on a 11-1 run as home favorites. Play the Mets.
