Chicago had a nice seven-game homestand but flopped in the opener of this road trip, losing 11-2 at New York yesterday. Up and down Jameson Taillon (5.36 ERA) gets the start and the bullpen is 14th in ERA and 23rd in the most walks allowed. The Cubs are 2-9 after surrendering nine runs, 17-36 after a loss by 4+ runs, and 2-9 on the road versus the NL East. New York was glad to be home after a winless road trip and thumped the Cubs.
